Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
